I like to think of watercolor as controlled chaos—where pigment, paper, and water conspire to surprise me. I don’t aim for perfection; I aim for feeling, flow, and a little bit of magic.
My art flows like the Bosphorus—unrushed, reflective, and full of contrast. I blend tradition and spontaneity in every piece, letting water and pigment echo the places and people that shaped me.

"Eva Karampa showed a strong interest in painting from an early age — an interest that has remained undiminished to this day. From various areas of art, she draws elements: mythical figures, zoomorphic forms, traditions of Africa and Asia, motifs from our folk culture and the culture of the Mediterranean, from early Impressionism and a pronounced Fauvism (fauve = wild animal). Over the years, she has developed a personal style, characterized by rich color, transparency, and a lack of strict geometry in favor of expressiveness. A romanticism of the image, a dreamlike imagination."
